At the heart of the project stands the main house, which today serves as the social and living hub of the lodge. It hosts the reception area, the guest table, and the kitchen—led by a chef and his team who work almost exclusively with produce from the garden and farm. The cuisine is simple and fresh, deeply rooted in African culinary traditions. A VIP room completes the main house, offering an intimate and privileged stay.

Surrounding the colonial-style house, four bungalows are seamlessly integrated into the landscape. Their architecture draws inspiration from traditional African circular dwellings, recognizable by their iconic conical thatched roofs. Historically built using local materials—earth, stone, and thatch—these forms are reinterpreted here in a contemporary way. The original spirit and aesthetics are preserved while providing modern comfort. The experience is immersive and soothing, ideal for slowing down and disconnecting.

Set slightly apart, elevated on the property, the Loft enjoys a spectacular, unobstructed view of the surrounding hills. It offers a true sense of space, calm, and freedom. Designed as a penthouse in the heart of nature, the Loft stands out for its raw, minimalist architecture: polished concrete floors and walls, and an interior ceiling woven from bamboo canes. The contrast is intentional—both contemporary and warm. Open, fluid spaces extend outward, allowing natural light and the landscape to fully inhabit the living areas.

For more active guests, Rutetë Eco Lodge also offers a dedicated fitness room.
